what is ms?

Multiple sclerosis (MS) is an unpredictable and chronic disease, affecting the central nervous system, which includes the brain, spinal cord, and optic nerves. An autoimmune disease, the immune system in those with MS appears to attack the central nervous system. The disease disrupts the flow of information within the brain, as well as between the brain and the body. Learn more about diagnosis and symptoms by clicking the boxes below.
